Our Rosie's San Fransisco Bay Sourdough is one of the only true sourdough breads on the market, and that's because we begin with our decades-old award-winning starter (often called the mother) that has been fed for over 30 years. We like to think all good things take time, so next, the starter matures for 20-24 hours before the mixing process. We then cut, divide, and shape the dough for a final proof in the pan for 18-24 hours; the process takes around 48 hours!
We know our process is old-fashioned, and the result is a clean, organic, authentic, and simply riveting sourdough bread.
